U.S. policy challenges facing the energy revolution

United States, "Wall Street Journal" recently published review article that the United States is not unstoppable energy revolution, energy policy outlook is still facing challenges. International Energy Agency (IEA) said earlier the United States may exceed Saudi Arabia in 2020, becoming the world's top oil producer, the global energy landscape because of U.S.  unconventional gas  production increased significantly and rewritten. But the "Wall Street Journal" that the U.S. energy revolution might collapse, unconventional oil and gas resource development policies still need to break through the barriers of uncertainty. The article pointed out, the biggest U.S. energy future potential threat is the federal regulatory policy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is actively seeking to restrict the use of  Hydraulic fracturing   that this technology will have a negative impact on the environment, and it must be non-conventional oil and gas exploration the technology used. New York has banned the use of hydraulic fracturing, fracturing proppanteven though the state has abundant shale oil and gas resources. From a global point of view, the French have banned hydraulic fracturing, although the French sitting on Europe's second largest shale oil and gas resources, there are still 98% of the natural gas to be imported. Article that the U.S. government too much emphasis on renewable energy, years of huge investment did not produce a breakthrough, but a real solution to energy independence lies in unconventional oil and gas resource development.
