Shale gas exploration and development technology has matured

Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Petroleum Enterprise Association president Wen-Rui Hu said the development of unconventional natural gas resources in China's development of low-carbon energy is the best choice, but of the underlying conditions are mature. Experts suggest clear support policies at national level

Although China's unconventional natural gas development potential, but overall, the development of unconventional gas is still in its infancy, policy, technology, cost and other aspects also need to gradually improve in order to form a virtuous cycle, to achieve sustainable development.

Wen-Rui Hu suggested that the formulation of national development plans unconventional gas, from the national level is very important to clearly support policies, such as policies to encourage CBM development policies. He believes that China's development of CBM should be positive and supporting policies in place, but the tight gas sands,  shale gas   at the policy level, the coordination of local stakeholders should be improved.

Dawei proposed domestic companies and industry should strengthen international exchanges and accelerate the introduction and digestion of foreign advanced technology and experience related to the formation of China's own core technology.
